October 30, 2012 - Twisted Celluloid Film Festival at Triskel Arts Centre, Tobin Street, Cork, Co. Cork, Ireland

Terror and suspense fans unite! This year's Twisted Celluloid @ Halloween takes place over two nights, Tuesday 30th October and Wednesday 31st October, and presents the finest new movies that the horror genre has to offer. Five feature films –Excision, Antiviral, Chained, American Mary and V/H/S – will be screened ahead of Irish theatrical or DVD release, will be preceded by trailers and short films, and the event takes place in the atmospheric Triskel Christchurch.

Along with ExcisionMovie, Antiviral, Chained, American Mary and V/H/S there are short films by Adam Green, Lee Francis McCabe, Ryan Haysom, Kristina Klebe and Damian Mc Carthy

Entertaining movies from around the globe includes invigorating, scary, creepy, sexy and wild feature films (with rare indies, classics and fan favourites), genre-related documentaries and amazingly original, innovative and diverse short films (with prizes from Visual Impact, Cosmesis, Masque and Sound & Motion Studios). Most of these motion pictures will make their African & South African premieres and won't be seen in any other South African cinemas (nor in DVD stores), including world premieres of two local productions.
