October 30, 2012 - Twisted Celluloid Film Festival at Triskel Arts Centre, Tobin Street, Cork, Co. Cork, Ireland

Terror and suspense fans unite! This year's Twisted Celluloid @ Halloween takes place over two nights, Tuesday 30th October and Wednesday 31st October, and presents the finest new movies that the horror genre has to offer. Five feature films –Excision, Antiviral, Chained, American Mary and V/H/S – will be screened ahead of Irish theatrical or DVD release, will be preceded by trailers and short films, and the event takes place in the atmospheric Triskel Christchurch.

Along with ExcisionMovie, Antiviral, Chained, American Mary and V/H/S there are short films by Adam Green, Lee Francis McCabe, Ryan Haysom, Kristina Klebe and Damian Mc Carthy.

Jacob's first contact with the [sacred object] sphere

The sphere [sacred object] is activated once again through the correct blood line i.e. Jacob.

The doctor uses regression and hypnosis, manipulating the sphere [sacred object] through Jacob's will.

Final retribution.

Jacob's revenge: the doctor gives Jacob the sacred object to look after for one night while knowing full well that Chaos will endure. Jacob's shadow detaches from the moonlit wall and climbs into Jacob's body, possessing him and causing him to kill his parents.

Jacob unlocks the sacred object - chaos endures. The villagers turn against one another in a violent manner. Jacob reveals himself or his altered Persona through the sphere.

 "Jacob was only 5 years old when he discovered his shadow for the first time. At first he didn’t know what this illuminating imprint was as the candles in the room gave more life to this new friend of Jacobs. Night-time fell across the African continent. The darkness was like a black velvet cloth that spread over the night sky with stars of silk beams sewn across the beautiful African sky. Jacob's mother came to light the candle in his room, for she knew that keeping a candle alight would drive away the evil spirits. That was 2years ago - by now Jacob was 7years old and had put two years of sheer will power into his new and exciting friend - his shadow. The township he lived, in believed the boy to be possessed and Jacob was constantly bullied by the other children. "
